This policy describes how Salon CLIO by Githmi Abeywickrama, a Ladies Only Salon at No. 23B, Akuressa Road, Nupe, Matara, Sri Lanka, handles information relating to this website, salon services and customer communications. The salon is operated by SALON CLIO (PVT) LTD (Company No. PV 00365448), incorporated in Sri Lanka. This policy also covers the salon management application identified as SalonSystem in Meta.
Information we handle
When you contact or visit the salon, we may receive your name, phone number, appointment details, service preferences, messages and attachments. Salon records can include service history, consultation and aftercare notes, consent choices, payments and receipts. Please share only information needed for your enquiry or service.
This public website has no customer account, enquiry form or online checkout. Cloudflare, our website hosting provider, may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs to deliver and protect the site. We have not added advertising pixels or analytics cookies to this website.
How information is used
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, arrange appointments, provide salon services, issue receipts, give aftercare information and maintain operational, financial and security records. Any promotional WhatsApp communication should follow your recorded permission and preferences; making an enquiry does not by itself subscribe you to marketing.
WhatsApp and Meta
Our WhatsApp links open a conversation with +94 74 301 4634. WhatsApp processes information under its own Privacy Policy. Salon staff may access communications to respond and provide services.
If the salon enables a WhatsApp Business Platform integration through SalonSystem, it may process phone numbers, message content, attachments, message identifiers and delivery status for salon communications. Any contact or chat-history synchronisation is subject to the applicable onboarding permissions. This website does not itself connect or migrate your WhatsApp account.
Access and service providers
Relevant information is accessible to authorised salon staff and providers needed to operate the services. Our public website uses Cloudflare. The separate salon management system uses hosting, database and file-storage services including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. WhatsApp communications use Meta/WhatsApp. These providers may process information outside Sri Lanka under their own applicable terms and safeguards.
Retention and protection
Information may be retained as needed for appointments, service history, aftercare, financial recordkeeping, security, recovery and applicable obligations. Access to the salon system is restricted by staff roles. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Backup copies may remain until they expire through the recovery process.
Your choices and requests
You can contact the salon to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for future promotional messages. To stop promotional WhatsApp messages, send “STOP” or tell the salon directly. We may need to verify that a request relates to you and retain records required for legitimate operational or legal reasons; we will explain any limitations.
